Thanks to everyone that supported Jerry Lewis and his tournament Saturday. It was good to see all the folks and I believe we had close to the largest group at the line up. I know Jerry appreciated your support.

Twas The Night Before New Years
Posted on 01/01/10 by AdministratorTwas the night before New Years and all through the house, the fists were a flying, and feeting hitting mouths. Oh what fun it is to play, with fourteen fighters trying to slay. Okay that’s enough, but I must say with ten black belts having fun and sweating it was great! THANK YOU all for being there. I feel so much better, and when the soreness dies down, let’s do it again. In Christ, Keith

Christmas party 2009
Posted on 12/23/09 by AdministratorGood Kata work
Posted on 12/07/09 by AdministratorHey Guys:
I saw a lot of good kata work Saturday. I think our founding fathers would be proud of the detail work and bunkai that is coming out of these sessions. Your students will benefit for many years to come. I encourage you to keep the movements pure or the same as the 1966 film of Shimabuku. It is good that you are getting into this now because it won’t be that many years until you will be the senior students left. We still have 15 or 20 folks that we can use to verify the original movements with Now you can make the bunkai yours, but not the original movements. Good Job

Grace Workout
Posted on 11/16/09 by AdministratorHello to all from Grace, after one of the smallest Tuesdays ever (four adults and two children), Thursday was one of the biggest ever. Fifty people faced each other while many onlookers stood upstairs and in the hallway and around the edge of the gym. Several dropped out due to bloody noses or little maladies. Keep your guard up! My smile could not be hid as so many, of such caliber, taught and lead their worthy opponent to greater skills and self-improvement. Thank you all for staying while I “preached to the mirror”, for the last half hour. Teach-fight-and pray-no better way - to spend the day! Humble and strong, learn to stand. Thank you all for your contribution for a wonderfull evening, Keith
