Sunday, February 28th, 2010Congratulations to Devan and Shane as they both won their cage fights Saturday night. I understand Shane won with an arm bar and Devan won with an ankle hook. Sounds like some good technique.

Another Great Isshinryu Cross Training Saturday
Sunday, February 28th, 2010We had another great Saturday of cross training in Jui-Jitsu. Lots of techniques shown! An estimated crowd of 60 to 70 karate Ki on the floor. Lots of energy! Lots of good instruction. The next one will be in Greenville, S.C. in May. I hope you can make it.

38th Annual Athens Karate GAmes

On March 20th will be our next tournament sponsored by the (I.I.KA. International Isshinryu Karate Association) It is always a well run tournament and pretty good size, probably 250 competitors. If you are going to compete; we would like to do it as a team. See Sensei Phillips for special tournament training.
